Beca scholarships programme
For over 25 years, we've been supporting students through our university scholarships programme. Every year, we celebrate the exceptional achievements of talented engineering students. We currently offer educational scholarships to students at the University of Auckland, the University of Canterbury, Ara Institute of Canterbury, WelTec, and Waikato University.
If you’re a student and keen to apply for a Beca scholarship we’d love to hear from you. Get in touch with your University Scholarships office to find out more.
Supporting Māori and Pasifika students
Together with SPIES (South Pacific Indigenous Engineering Students) and the University of Auckland, we aim to promote Māori and Pasifika representation in the engineering profession and embrace our commitment to better reflect these communities we work with. Our partnership will allow us to directly support Māori and Pasifika engineering students to achieve to their full potential.
We're also proud to support emerging Ngāi Tahu Rangatahi professionals through our annual Ngāi Tahu / Beca scholarships. The scholarships provide recipients with learning support, career development, and opportunities to connect with their iwi.
Mentoring young leaders
We enjoy encouraging and inspiring young leaders through our annual School Days programme. Students from local high schools are exposed to a variety of career possibilities and get a taste for what it’s like to work as a professional consultant.
